We would like to welcome you to Ruurlo. The area surrounding of Hampshire - Hotel Avenarius is ideal for a few days of walking and cycling. But there is more to do. For example, Ruurlo Castle with the MORE (Modern Realism; the Carel Willink collection) You can easily walk there within a few minutes.
Restaurant
In the restaurant of Hampshire Hotel – Avenarius you are welcome for an extensive breakfast (with homemade jam!), delicious lunch and extensive dinner. You can dine à la carte or order a set menu. The cuisine is internationally oriented and adapts to the seasons. Before you sit down for dinner in the evening, it is advisable to start in the buffet room with an aperitif by the fireplace.
Tapas bar
You know them, those delicious Spanish snacks in earthenware dishes. At the Tapasbar you can order all the classics, hot and cold and with or without an Achterhoek twist. Such as king prawns in garlic sauce, tortilla from Naegelholt from Ruurlo and antipasti with Iberico ham. When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy your tapas outside on the terrace.

We are very happy to announce that our restaurant is fully open again, of course all according to the guidelines of the RIVM. so only 4 people can sit at a table and we still use the 1,5 meters away. This way we can offer all our guests a pleasant stay.
